Step outside feel that spring sun on my skin

My favorite time of year again I can’t help but grin

I’ve been cooped up immune system non existent

But now it’s time for something new to begin

 

I feel a breeze blowing

And with it comes a new knowing

Look around I see leaves growing

Living out their purpose with no signs of slowing

Peace of mind

I’ve been stuck

In the black holes of my mind

Gravity so defined

Levity helped me every time

 

Found solace in my art and it’s why

I am still here alive

Waiting for my day to thrive

 

It’ll come

Perfectionism so flagrant

Less is more be patient
